1. Install "Maui META 3G Tool" on your PC
2. Open it.
3. Click "Options ↦ Connect Smart phone into META mode"
4. Click on Reconnect button
5. Switch off your phone

you have to do :--
1. root your unite 2 (how to root)
2. ES FILE XPLORER
3. OPEN ES THEN GO TO TOOLS
4. MOUNT R/W TICK WRITABLE AND GIVE ROOT ACCESS
5. COPY KEYBOARD.APK YOU WANT TO USE
6. OPEN SYSTEM/APP
7. THEN REPLACE THE OLD KEYBOARD TO NEW ONE

Installing Clockworkmod Recovery on your Micromax Unite 2 means that you will be able to flash new custom ROMs on it. Without custom recovery you cannot flash new ROMs. Also, it should be installed on rooted devices. Clockworkmod Recovery can also be used to backup your entire ROM.
METHOD (WITHOUT PC):
You need:
1. CWM recovery
a) For Kitkat :--- http://linkshrink.net/7b9NKN
2. MobileUncle tools (install from play store)
3. Rooted Phone
Follow these steps to flash custom recovery without PC:
CHANGE NAME OF RECOVERY TO:- RECOVERY.IMG BEFORE FLASHING

1. YOU HAVE TO DRAIN YOUR BATTERY TO 0%
2. CHARGE BATTERY FULL 100%
3. THEN OPEN BATTERY CALIBRATION

Micromax unite 2 has limited OTG support.When you connect a Pendrive with OTG cable,It shows a notification "Checking for Errors".It has software problem.You have to install USB OTG Helper to fix this problem.
You Need :-
1.USB OTG Helper App( download )
2.Es Explorer or Any ROOT Explorer( download)
